Job summary

Msdprojectclear is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Planning Division - Capital Project Planning Program, responsible for hydraulic models and capital project planning for storm and sanitary systems. The role directs staff, coordinates with other divisions, and prepares reports to support the District's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Provides leadership and manages the daily operations of a program within the Engineering Department.
• Directs, develops, and motivates staff to meet the objectives that assist in achieving the District's strategic plan.
• Plan, organize and direct all activities of a program as required to achieve program goals.
• Manage and supervise the daily activities of personnel assigned to the program.
• Coordinate activities with other programs within the Division and the Department; maintain working relationship with public officials.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.
• Regular functions may include but are not limited to coordinating activities with District legal staff, coordinating activities with other Departments within the District, attend and/or conduct public hearings and presentations.

• Planning Division - Capital Project Planning Program is responsible for developing/maintaining hydraulic models of the collection system and the identification/preliminary design of capital improvement projects to address deficiencies in the storm and sanitary collection system, pump stations, storage facilities and treatment facilities.

Essential Functions:

• Provides leadership and manages the daily operations of a program within the Engineering Department.
