Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to support DTRA and lead modernization of applications for the Joint Operations Center. You will guide a team of IT professionals, align with DTRA leaders to define requirements, and manage cost, schedule, and scope using standard program management practices.

Based in the Fort Belvoir area with hybrid telework options, the role requires a TS/SCI clearance and strong written/oral communication skills. A PMP is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• Security clearance TS/SCI required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
• PMP preferred (not mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area with annual revenues of $10M and above
• Leads a team of IT professionals and watch officers that maintain, develop, and operate a suite of applications that provides operational information to DTRA leadership
• Works closely with DTRA leadership to define requirements and priorities, develop plans, and communicate status
• Applies project and program management techniques and principles to control cost, schedule, and scope
• Experience in proposal development and Task Order Solicitations.

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
