City Year Seattle/King County is seeking a Program Manager to lead and mentor a team of AmeriCorps members within Seattle/King County schools. You will oversee program implementation, partner relationships, and service delivery to improve attendance, behavior, and coursework.
This on-site role starts mid‑June to July 2023, with reviews in May–June 2023; candidates must be prepared to work in schools and travel within King County as needed. Compensation is $57,500 annually.

We seek Program Manager (PM) candidates starting in the 2023‑2024 school year who will manage and mentor a team of full‑time AmeriCorps members, overseeing the implementation of our service model in one our partner schools we serve in Seattle/King County. Applicants can expect their applications to be reviewed and interviews to be conducted in May – June 2023, with a start date of mid‑June – July 2023. Program Managers are responsible for three main areas: program implementation, corps member program delivery and experience, and service partner management. The Program Manager must be effective in relationship development and team management, coaching a team of up to 10 AmeriCorps members to deliver attendance, behavior, and course performance supports to students, as well as enabling a rewarding, productive, professional and successful year of service. In this way, the PM is responsible for the overall b management of the day‑to‑day programmatic operations of their team, as well as leading their team to ensure that all goals and service outcomes are met. Additionally, the Program Manager serves as the primary City Year liaison in schools, building strong relationships with school administrators and personnel to successfully fulfill the services in the Statement of Partnership. Reporting to a Program Director, the Program Manager plays a critical role in implementing City Year Seattle / King County’s school‑based service model. Program Managers are expected to serve in person at their school site, except on days where we have in person meetings or trainings.
