Job summary

EVONA is seeking an experienced Program Manager to own complex aerospace engineering programs from concept through design, build, integration and test. The role sits in a hybrid work arrangement in San Diego, California.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams—optical, opto‑mechanical, mechanical, electrical and software—owning technical approach, quality, budgets and schedules, mitigating risks, and building trusted partnerships with customers to expand programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or another STEM-related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with sensor payload system development.
• Strong experience managing complex engineering programs.

I’m working with an engineering organisation developing advanced optical and sensor systems for some seriously interesting aerospace applications.

They’re looking for an experienced Program Manager who can take ownership of complex engineering programs from concept through design, build, integration and test.

This isn’t purely a schedule-and-budget PM position. You’ll be working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across optical, opto-mechanical, mechanical, electrical and software disciplines, with the opportunity to remain technically involved where appropriate.
