Job summary

Butler America Aerospace is seeking a Program Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for its Digital Technology portfolio. The role offers remote work with an option for hybrid or onsite work if local to a facility, and reports to the Digital Technology Program Management Team.

The successful candidate will drive planning, actuals, and forecasting, coordinate with DT leadership and finance, perform month-end close, and support the Long-Range Plan and AOP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with Digital Technology Finance, RTX Digital Technology, and leadership within the DT organization
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan, actuals, and forecasting deliverables
  • Prepare and report DT spend actuals and forecast future spend
  • Support and partner with DT leadership to achieve operating plan
  • Perform financial month-end close and forecast activities
  • Analyze actual results and provide guidance for improvements
  • Support Long-Range Plan and AOP processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve key processes
  • Monitor headcount, capital and other activities
  • Maintain internal controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley and regulatory requirements

Location: Remote (Option to work Hybrid OR Onsite- IF local to a facility)

The Digital Technology Program Management Team is currently searching for a seasoned financial professional who can work independently and as a part of a team, supporting the financial reporting and analysis of the digital technology organization, including individual projects.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Interact with Digital Technology Finance, RTX Digital Technology, as well as leadership within the DT organization

  • Work closely with DT leadership and the finance team to perform and manage planning, actuals and forecasting deliverables

  • Compile, analyze, and report business DT spend actuals and collaborate with DT leadership and finance teams to accurately forecast future spend

  • Support and partner with DT leadership to achieve operating plan and drive actions to support

  • Perform financial month end close and forecast activities

  • Analyze actual results and provide guidance for short/long-term financial improvements

  • Provide support for the Long-Range Plan and AOP process

  • Identify and drive continuous improvements of key processes

  • Monitor headcount, capital and other activities as needed

  • Help maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, USG Accounting and Trade Compliance Regulations


Basic Qualifications:


  • This position requires advanced knowledge of financial planning typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience

  • Ability to compile, analyze, interpret and present complex financial information

  • Finance experience related to financial planning & analysis in a highly matrixed organization

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident \"Green Card\" holder

Preferred Qualifications:


  • A University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience

  • Prior SAP experience

  • Proven leadership in related positions

  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to flexibly work in a dynamic and changing environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines

  • Self-guided and self-motivated, ability to work with limited oversight
