Manages administrative operations for a defined graduate program.Coordinates student services, program logistics, and compliancewith academic policies and timelines to support effective programdelivery.
The Program Manager manages administrative operations, includingadmissions, onboarding, communications, and activities for theDepartment of Medical Ethics and Health Policy's Online EducationalInitiatives. This includes the Master of Health Care Innovation(MHCI)-a high-touch, cohort-based online degree-and relatedgraduate programs. They coordinate compliance with
academic policies and timelines to support effective programdelivery.
Reporting to and working closely with the MHCI Associate ProgramDirector, the Program Manager works in a sustainable, high-qualityway to 1) manage admissions and onboarding processes and 2) supportstudents' academic success and program operations.
The Program Manager leads administrative admissions processes forthe MHCI and related programs. This entails collecting and trackingapplication materials across multiple application deadlinesthroughout the year; effective, timely, and clear communication(verbal and written) with applicants, references, and theAdmissions Committee; shepherding and troubleshooting processesthrough the admissions software; and managing and supporting alumniinterviewers.
The position also manages program communications, such as studentand alumni newsletters, special announcements, and course info forpartner
programs. They maintain internal (Canvas) and external (Drupal)websites and they support co-curricular activities for students andalumni.Students in MEHP Online programs are working professionalsacross diverse roles and
organizations who are passionate about improving health care.
The Program Manager supports these students as they enroll in theprogram, register for courses, and seek help with administrativeissues regarding email accounts, billing, and more. The successfulcandidate will have experience
managing complex, multi-step processes with software systems,volunteers, and committees; is highly organized and reliable; showsstrong attention to
detail; and can clearly communicate and empathetically interactwith a varied population of adult learners, whether by phone, videocalls, or email.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
