The Program Manager drives cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, owning programs from kickoff through launch and post-launch review. This role matters because velocity depends on coordination: the person in it removes blockers, keeps dependencies visible, and turns ambiguous initiatives into plans teams can actually execute against.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program plans for product launches and platform initiatives, including milestones, dependencies, and RACI ownership
- Run weekly cross-functional syncs with engineering, product, design, and marketing leads; publish status updates and elevate risks early
- Manage program tracking in Jira, Linear, or Asana, maintaining accurate roadmaps, timelines, and dependency maps
- Drive launch readiness: coordinate QA sign-off, rollout plans, comms, and post-launch retrospectives
- Track program health metrics (on-time delivery, scope changes, blockers) and report progress to leadership
- Identify process gaps across teams and implement improvements in planning, documentation, and handoffs
- Partner with leadership on quarterly planning, helping scope initiatives and allocate resources across teams
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of program or project management experience in technology companies
- Proven track record shipping complex, multi-team programs on time with clear ownership and communication
- Hands‑on fluency with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or Asana; comfortable building status dashboards and reporting
- Strong written communication: can distill messy technical discussions into crisp plans and exec summaries
- Experience working directly with engineering teams; able to speak credibly about SDLC, sprints, and technical tradeoffs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: PMP or CSM certification, experience at a high‑growth startup, or familiarity with SQL or basic data analysis
