Job summary

Averro seeks an aerospace Program Manager for a manufacturer of structural parts serving large business and regional jet OEMs. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, overseeing from order entry through on-time delivery and production orders.

Responsibilities include developing recovery plans for delayed products, negotiating pricing and lead times, and using ERP/MRP data (Epicor Vantage/Kinetic) to drive 100% on-time delivery, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in program management or 3–5 years in production control/materials management.
• Aerospace manufacturing with Boeing supply chain exposure (BOOTS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management; equivalent experience.
• Hands-on ERP/ERP experience, preferably Epicor Vantage/Kinetic.

• Build status reporting (Gantt charts, S-curves, stoplight charts) and collaborate across departments; occasional travel.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an aerospace Program Manager for a manufacturer of structural parts for large business and regional jet OEMs, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in program management and aerospace supply chain looking to further their career in aerospace manufacturing.

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, managing communication, program reviews, and production orders from order entry through on-time delivery
• Develop recovery plans for products not meeting customer demand, and resolve urgent customer issues using sound judgment and independent decision-making
• Negotiate spares pricing, order lead times, and expediting charges, and manage responses to engineering change requests to optimize cost recovery
• Forecast demand and manage shipping date estimates using ERP/MRP data (Epicor Vantage/Kinetic) to drive 100% on-time delivery to customer purchase orders
• Build status reporting (Gantt charts, S-curves, stoplight charts) and collaborate across departments to meet customer specifications and timelines; occasional US and international travel

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year in program management role or a combination with 3–5 years in production control, materials, or inventory management in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Aerospace manufacturing experience with direct Boeing supply chain exposure (BOOTS), ideally on the supplier side; hands-on Epicor (Vantage/Kinetic) or similar MRP/ERP experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Program Management certification (e.g., PMP)
• Lean manufacturing experience; proficiency in MS Project and Excel
