Job summary

United and Empowered seeks a Day Support & Community Engagement Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Day Support and Community Engagement Programs and ensure services align with person-centered planning and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience working with intellectual disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background and Central Registry check completed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Day Support and Community Engagement Programs.
• Assist with conducting assessments and developing Person Centered Plans.
• Assist with the monthly Day Support/Community Engagement Calendar.
• Check books to ensure standing orders, prescriptions, and doctor’s orders are up to date.
• Ensure Day support staff have necessary supplies.
• Work one weekend per month.
• Assist with doctor’s appointments.
• Facilitate staff training per regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $500!

• $250 after 90 days
• Additional $250 after 6 months

Salary starts at $30,000 - $40,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Day Support and Community Engagement Programs

• Assists with conducting assessments and developing Person Centered Plans
• Assists with the monthly Day Support/Community Engagement Calendar.
• Checks weekly documentation and forwards to program director for review
• Check books to make sure standing orders, prescriptions, physicals, and doctor's orders are up to date
• Assure Day support staff/community engagement staff have the necessary supplies
• Work one weekend per month
• Assist with the handling of Doctor's Appointment
• Facilitate and organize staff training per U&E and Licensing regulations
• Other duties as assigned.
