This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication with C-suite sponsors, and a proven ability to deliver on time, on budget, and within scope while optimizing for value and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in professional services, functional or technical consulting, with a strong focus on ERP, CRM, or eCommerce systems
  • Proven success in leading and delivering complex SaaS programs across diverse industries
  • 5+ years of management experience overseeing cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and client stakeholders
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, system integrations, and third-party application ecosystems
  • PMP, Prince2, or similar project/program management certification is a plus
  • Open to travel up to 20-25%, including on-site client engagements and team coordination activities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all programs are aligned with the company's strategic goals and client expectations.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage customer vendors to meet the project objectives.
  • Manage Appficiency's project vendors from selection to monitoring their performance.
  • Ensure the deliverables of the programs are aligned with the defined scope of the work in the SOWS; identify scope deviations and communicate potential change requests to the customer.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve their full potential and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure resources are available and project requirements are met.
  • Identify the areas that the program needs a vendor to be involved; identify potential vendors and manage rate negotiation.
  • Integrate vendor plans into the Program Plan.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a risk response plan and communicate with stakeholders proactively.
  • Proactively address issues and conflicts, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
  • Implement best practices in program management and continuously improve processes and methodologies.
  • Prepare and present program reports, including status updates, financials, and outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Regularly communicate with senior management, providing insights into program performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on program objectives and outcomes.
  • Identify and analyze the stakeholders and define the strategy on how to manage their expectations for the team.

The Essentials
  • 8+ years of experience in professional services, functional or technical consulting, with a strong focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or eCommerce systems
  • Proven success in leading and delivering complex Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) programs across diverse industries
  • 5+ years of management experience overseeing cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and client stakeholders, across multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong expertise with the NetSuite platform
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions
  • Experience managing full program life cycles, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget
  • Track record of building and maintaining long-term, profitable client relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and referenceability
  • Proficient in project portfolio management, resource planning, and risk mitigation across large-scale programs
  • Skilled at facilitating executive-level communications, including C-suite reporting, business reviews, and roadmap presentations
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure
  • Demonstrated agility in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, system integrations, and third-party application ecosystems
