Job summary

Okpsych is seeking a Program Manager to lead development, implementation, and evaluation of health-focused programs. You will coordinate with internal teams and community partners to ensure grant-aligned activities, establish metrics, and develop culturally responsive materials.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience, with some evening/weekend work and travel. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program activities and work plans.
  • Establish program goals, metrics, and timelines in alignment with grant and contract requirements.
  • Create program materials that are culturally responsive and appropriate for target audiences.
  • Monitor progress toward program objectives and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate activities with internal staff, subcontractors, vendors, and community partners.
  • Monitor program performance and support ongoing evaluation efforts.
  • Assist with budget tracking and forecasting for assigned programs.
  • Support participation and engagement among program partners and subcontractors.
  • Provide training and guidance related to invoices, claims, reporting requirements, and program processes.
  • Monitor program compliance through site visits and internal review processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quantitative and qualitative program data.
  • Prepare and submit oral and written reports in accordance with grant and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of program outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with health centers, funders, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, trainings, focus groups, and partner discussions.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, correspondence, and departmental reports.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to program participants and partners.
  • Support multiple programs based on organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a backup resource for processing program forms and documents when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs in accordance with grant and contract requirements. Programs may include health promotion initiatives, quality improvement efforts, disease management programs, screening and early detection initiatives, enrollment and outreach activities, access-to-care programs, and other health-related projects. This role provides day-to-day oversight of assigned programs, collaborates closely with partners and stakeholders, and ensures successful execution of program goals and deliverables. Based on organizational needs, the Program Manager may independently manage one or more complex grants or programs.

What You'll Do
Program Development

Location, Schedule & Travel
  • Remote position.
  • Must live within approximately 60 minutes of a major U.S. airport.
  • Standard business hours are generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PST.
  • Minimum 5% travel required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Some evening and weekend work may be required.
