Job summary

Spectrum Community Services is seeking a Program Manager to lead a Direct Support team within a group home in Cadillac, MI. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate maintenance, ensure safety standards, and manage budgeting and vehicle logistics.

The role emphasizes leadership and staff development, with opportunities for advancement. A valid Michigan driver's license and background clearances are mandatory, and a comprehensive background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Must complete all required background clearances

• Background check required including fingerprinting, TB test, drug screen and MILTC clearance

About the role

Program Managers lead a team of Direct Support professionals that support people with disabilities by example and as outlined in each individual’s Person-centered Plan. This role creates a positive and supportive teamwork experience within the group home, where all members contribute and are valued. The Program Manager is responsible for operating the group home, coordinating maintenance, ensuring safety standards, budgeting, staff-related issues, and vehicles.
