Spectrum Community Services is seeking a Program Manager for the Western Regional Office in Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead a team of Direct Support Professionals, oversee the daily operation of the group home, and coordinate safety, budgeting, and staff issues to support people with disabilities.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, background checks, and commitment to person-centered planning, with opportunities to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professionals supervision experience is preferred.
• Must pass comprehensive background clearances and fingerprinting.
• Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Western region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals in the group home setting.
• Oversee operation of the group home, including safety, budgeting, and maintenance coordination.
• Manage staff-related issues and schedules, ensuring compliance with Person-centered Plans.
• Coordinate vehicle needs and transportation requirements for residents.

Program Managers lead a team of Direct Support Professions that support people with disabilities, both by example and as outlined in each individual’s Person-centered Plan. This role creates a positive and supportive teamwork work experience within the group home; one in which all members contribute and are valued. The Program Manager is responsible for the operation of the group home, coordinating maintenance, ensuring safety standards, budgeting, staff-related issues, and vehicles

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ G.E.D or equivalent
• Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Must successfully complete all required background clearances
