About The Role
The role drives cross-functional execution for technical programs spanning engineering, product, and infrastructure teams — turning ambiguous goals into scoped plans, clear owners, and shipped outcomes. You will be the connective tissue between teams: managing roadmaps, unblocking dependencies, and reporting program health to leadership. This position is fully remote, based in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional programs, from kickoff through launch, across engineering, product, and design teams
- Build and maintain program plans in Jira, Asana, or Linear — tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and owners
- Run recurring syncs, status reviews, and executive readouts with clear, data-backed progress reporting
- Identify and escape blockers early; negotiate priorities and timelines across competing team commitments
- Establish and track program KPIs (on-time delivery, scope changes, velocity) and drive post-launch retrospectives
- Improve internal processes: release management, sprint ceremonies, and cross-team escalation paths
- Partner with leadership on headcount planning, resource allocation, and roadmap prioritization
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of program or technical project management experience in a software or SaaS environment
- Proven track record managing multi-team programs from kickoff to launch with measurable outcomes
- Hands-on expertise with Jira, Asana, or Linear, plus strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices
- Ability to understand technical architectures (APIs, infrastructure, release pipelines) well enough to plan and unblock work
- Excellent written communication — concise status updates, clear exec summaries, and crisp documentation
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification; experience with SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau); prior experience at a high-growth startup
