The Opportunity

Program Management Office (PMO) manager helps strengthen and scale program management capabilities across RevMed’s development portfolio. This role will partner closely with Program Managers and cross-functional molecule teams to understand business needs and develop practical processes, tools, and ways of working that enable effective planning, collaboration, and execution. The ideal candidate combines strong program management fundamentals with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement. They will bring structure to complex problems, translate the needs of Program Managers and molecule teams into scalable solutions, and drive adoption of tools and processes that improve visibility, consistency, and effectiveness across programs. This is a highly collaborative role with the opportunity to help shape how Program Management operates as RevMed’s portfolio and organization continue to grow. Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Program Managers and molecule teams to identify opportunities to improve program planning, execution, communication, and cross-functional ways of working.
• Developing, implementing, and improving program management processes, tools, templates, and standards that increase consistency and effectiveness across the development portfolio.
• Supporting the development and adoption of integrated planning tools that provide visibility into key milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and program deliverables.
• Gathering feedback from Program Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, identify common challenges and emerging needs, and translate those insights into practical PMO solutions.
• Driving implementation and sustained adoption of new PMO capabilities by developing guidance, training, communications, and resources.
• Establishing metrics and feedback mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of PMO tools and processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partnering across Development and other functions to align program management practices, share best practices, and ensure PMO capabilities evolve as RevMed's portfolio and organization grow.

Required Skills, Experience and Education

• B.A. or BSc. with 8 years in Life Sciences or; an MSc with 6 years, experience in a scientific or similarly related field.
• Strong understanding of program management principles, including integrated planning, cross-functional execution, milestone and critical path management, risk and issue management, dependencies, and decision-tracking.
• Working knowledge of the drug development lifecycle and the roles of key functions within a cross-functional development team.
• Demonstrated ability to identify business needs and develop scalable processes, tools, templates, and ways of working that improve team effectiveness and portfolio visibility.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, gather diverse perspectives, and facilitate alignment, and navigate competing priorities across functions.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous or complex problems, identify root causes, and translate needs into practical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience introducing new processes, developing training or guidance, and driving adoption.
• Experience with change management and adoption, including developing training, communications, or resources that help teams successfully adopt new tools and ways of working.
• Comfort working with program management and collaboration platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, or similar tools, with the ability to use data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a rapidly growing biotechnology or pharmaceutical R&D environment, helping evolve processes from fit-for-purpose solutions into scalable organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with late-stage development, regulatory submissions, or commercialization readiness would be beneficial but not required.
• Experience within a PMO, Program Management Center of Excellence, or similar enablement function focused on improving program management capabilities.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean/Six Sigma, change management certification, or similar professional training is a plus.

Base Pay Salary Range

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the base pay salary range for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.

Please note that base pay salary range is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
