Job summary

The Program Management Intern at Westwood Professional Services will join a firm-wide team responsible for project controls, scheduling, and delivery oversight across Land, Renewables, Public Infrastructure, and Power markets.

You will learn to apply schedule development, budget tracking, and status reporting under guidance of experienced managers, gaining hands-on experience with tools and processes used to monitor health and communicate progress to clients.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and project teams.
• Willingness to learn in a flexible, cross-disciplinary work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables across multiple disciplines.
• Support budget tracking and invoicing activities, including monitoring hours, expenses, and contract fees against approved project budgets.
• Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards summarizing schedule, budget, and risk information for internal and client review.
• Coordinate with project managers and discipline leads across Land, Renewables, Public Infrastructure, and Power to gather updates and ensure consistent reporting.
• Assist in the development of resource and staffing plans to support project scheduling and workload forecasting.
• Support client communications and meeting logistics, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
