Job summary

Texas Instruments seeks an energetic Program Management Engineer to lead a cross-functional team in releasing new products and achieving ROI targets from concept to market. You will coordinate with Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Eng, Manufacturing, and Quality, while planning with MS Project and maintaining schedules.

This role requires strong leadership and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project/product engineering or test.
• Proven leadership capabilities in leading multifaceted organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross functional team on releasing new products and ROI targets; team includes Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Eng, Manufacturing, Field, Quality.
• Coordinate wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality.
• Plan the project using MS Project from Assess Opportunity to Release to Market within budget.
• Provide clear direction to team and external support organizations like fabrication and assembly/test sites.
• Drive and motivate all team members for flawless execution of each product/project.
• Host and drive meetings across functions, organizations and countries.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and issues.
• Work with Failure Analysis to determine root causes of reliability/qualification issues.
• Collaborate with product engineering to execute IC reliability testing against specs.
• Maintain thorough project schedules with milestones; develop qualification plans.
• Maintain Galileo system per new product development guidelines.
• Measure success by growth in new products and ROI.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a cross functional team on the execution of releasing new products and ensuring successful return on investment for every development; the team consists of Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Manufacturing, Field, and Quality
• Work with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality
• Plan the project using MS Project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and is responsible to make sure the project comes in on budget
• Provide clear direction to both, team and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly and test sites
• Drive and motivate all team members critical to the flawless execution of each product and project
• Host and drive meetings and review across team member from multiple functions, organizations and countries
• Provide regular updates to senior management on status of projects, explaining the issues facing a project
• Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures
• Work with the product engineering team to execute product reliability testing of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product and customer specifications
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones
• Drive the development and implementation of Qualification plans
• Maintain Galileo system per new product development guidelines
• Success will be measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
• 4 + years of experience with Project engineering/Product engineering or Test related field
• Proven leadership capabilities in leading multifaceted organizations

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and set realistic plans based on required tasks with available resources
• Ability to effectively coordinate and lead global development teams on projects that include design, silicon fabrications, production test development, qualification and production ramp; Programs will be driven out of multiple global locations
• Ability to provide clear direction to both internal teams and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly sites
• Knowledge of device packaging and wafer fabrication process
• Knowledge of reliability requirements and tri-temp characterization methodology using statistical analysis
• Ability to work in a team environment and understand cross-functional team dynamics
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
