Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to support LCS Surface Training Systems for the NavyDoD. The role covers coordination across multiple stakeholders, guiding program teams with minimal supervision, and ensuring policy compliance at a divisions level.

The successful candidate will lead analysis and validation of system requirements, manage cost/schedule/performance aspects, and keep leadership informed on funding and milestones. Requires DoD experience and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 15 years relevant experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• DAWIA Advanced Level certification in Program Management or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support PMS-339 LCS Surface Training Systems, Technical Division.
• Execute complex assignments and lead coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to program teams with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Navy and DoD policies.
• Directly engage with Navy leadership across the PAPM/APM enterprise.
• Lead analysis, refinement and validation of LCS surface training systems requirements.
• Provide analysis, recommendations and consultation on LCS trainer delivery.
• Identify LCS trainer cost, schedule and performance issues.
• Maintain leadership visibility into funding, milestones, and execution status.
• Oversee products and deliverables to ensure quality and traceability.

• Support PMS-339 LCS Surface Training Systems, Technical Division
• Execute complex assignments and lead coordination across multiple stakeholders
• Provide guidance to program teams with minimal supervision
• Ensure compliance with applicable Navy and DoD policies
• Directly engage with Navy leadership across the Program Management (PAPM/APM) enterprise
• Lead advanced analysis, refinement, and strategic validation of LCS surface training systems requirements
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and consultation support regarding all aspects of LCS trainer delivery
• Identify LCS trainer cost, schedule, and performance issues
• Maintain leadership visibility into funding, milestones, and execution status
• Oversee assigned products and deliverables to ensure quality, format, traceability, and accuracy standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or 15 years relevant experience
• 7+ years of professional experience in Surface Training, Acquisition, time in or supporting the DoN, and PPBE
• Advanced Degree in a business or technical field (preferred)
• DAWIA Advanced Level certification in Program Management or equivalent (preferred)
• U.S. citizenship required; must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
• Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
