Job summary

Amego in Northborough, MA is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our Vocational and CBDS programs and provide leadership to staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services in our community.

The role focuses on developing meaningful employment and community opportunities, supervising staff, maintaining regulatory compliance with DDS and CARF, budgets, planning, and continuous program improvement to maximize independence for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in human services.
• Experience supervising staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts adult service systems, including DDS and vocational programming.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and program development is a plus.
• Passion for person-centered services and community inclusion.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain or maintain CPR/First Aid, MAP, and SOLVE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day Vocational and CBDS program operations.
• Develop meaningful employment, volunteer, and community opportunities for individuals served.
• Supervise, coach, and support program staff while fostering a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with DDS, CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
• Monitor program quality through audits, documentation, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, employers, funding agencies, and community partners.
• Assist with budgeting, strategic planning, and program development.
• Promote innovative employment and skill-building opportunities that maximize independence.
• Participate in the agency's management team and help drive continuous improvement.
