Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Allentown, PA seeks a Full-Time Program Specialist to oversee daily employment program operations across regions and lead a team toward programmatic goals in line with the agency’s mission.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3 years of related experience or 1 year as an Employment Specialist, ACRE certification, and a valid driver’s license; travel and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field or 1 year as COI Employment Specialist.
• ACRE certification or equivalent credentials.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of DORS and DDA employment supports.

Responsibilities

• Manage the employment services program across assigned regions, ensuring licensing and CO standards.
• Lead, train and manage team performance to support growth and program goals.
• Provide ACRE training to staff and external agencies.
• Partner with stakeholders to expand and maintain high-quality employment programs.
• Define contract requirements for vocational activities with state entities.
