Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian to lead the Eating for Healing program in Milwaukee.

You will plan, direct, and oversee program activities, coordinate with Indian Health Service and grant reporting, and ensure successful nutrition services for participants. Ideal candidates hold a Wisconsin RD license with 2+ years in clinical or community nutrition, and have strong leadership, data reporting, and EHR experience, including Epic OCHIN.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Nutrition or related healthcare field.
• Wisconsin-licensed Registered Dietitian in good standing.
• Experience in clinical or community nutrition preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills for team guidance.
• Knowledge of diabetes, prediabetes, and nutrition-related health conditions.
• Familiarity with Milwaukee's food resource landscape.

Responsabilités

• Plan and oversee the Eating for Healing Program to meet goals.
• Collaborate with IHS Communities of Practice and grant reporting.
• Screen participants for food insecurity and enrollment eligibility.
• Monitor enrollment and participation in program activities.
• Assist with medical records per grant guidelines and eligibility tracking.
• Train providers on program criteria and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Lead WOLFE activities monthly or bi-weekly.
• Support Native Wellness Garden planning and events.
• Generate data reports from Epic OCHIN and health information systems.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HRSA, OSHA and related standards.
