Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a part-time Dietitian to plan and oversee nutrition care. The role requires building nutrition plans from patient assessments, coordinating with physicians, and educating patients and families on dietary needs. You will document care and contribute to discharge planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Dietetics, RD licensure, and strong communication skills. Interim supervision and ongoing staff education are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• CADE accredited internship or coordinated dietetic program.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a nutrition plan of care based on patient assessment.
• Review diet orders and communicate with physicians about nutrition needs.
• Document nutrition assessments, therapy plans, and nutrition orders.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, staff, and community.
• Maintain daily clinical records for scheduling and billing.
• Train and supervise Graduate Dietitians and Dietetic interns/students.
• Provide age-appropriate care as outlined in department policies.
