Job summary

Bancroft in Brick, NJ is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the operations, staff, and daily activities of an adult residential program site. You will supervise staff, ensure a safe, compliant, and respectful environment, and collaborate with clinical teams to support individuals served.

Qualifications include a BA in a related field and experience with developmentally disabled or brain-injured individuals; AACBIS certification within 18 months is required.

Qualifications

• BA in a related field and at least one year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
• High School diploma or equivalent with two-three years in Human Services or related field.
• Prior management experience and desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals.
• AACBIS certification within 18 months of employment and ongoing annual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead staff across all shifts with oversight and performance feedback.
• Manage day-to-day program operations to ensure a safe, compliant environment.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management with HR and leadership.
• Address complex situations using crisis intervention and person-centered approaches.
• Maintain documentation including reports, billing, attendance, and regulatory records.
• Review staff documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate IPP, IDT, TDT, and treatment planning processes.
• Coordinate medical and therapeutic recommendations with nursing and clinical teams.
• Monitor quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with individuals served, families, professionals, and external agencies.
• Advocate for individuals served, protecting rights, dignity and privacy.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance across the program.
• Oversee program vehicles and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide direct care and support as needed, and participate in special projects.
