Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking an experienced program manager to organize and manage end-to-end proposal workflows across multiple contributors. You will support development, implementation, and maintenance of program management plans aligned with requirements and processes.

You will help identify program metrics, maintain dashboards for leadership, coordinate with CAMs and cross-functional teams, and ensure IPDS and gate requirements are met. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • University degree (or advanced degree) and extensive program management experience.
  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience with cost proposals, gate packages, or other program planning documents.
  • Experience with EVMS, risk management, IMP/IMS, or similar disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage end-to-end proposal workflows across multiple contributors, maintaining clear communication, deadlines, and integration of all team inputs
  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of program management plans aligned with program requirements and company processes
  • Assist with identifying program metrics and maintaining situational awareness dashboards for leadership
  • Support performance tracking including data collection, analysis, and coordination of corrective actions
  • Maintain effective action item tracking to ensure timely closure
  • Coordinate with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and cross-functional program teams
  • Ensure timely compliance with IPDS processes and program gate requirements
  • Contribute to risk and opportunity management activities
  • Engage with customers during technical meetings, contract discussions, and program reviews as required
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

What You Will Do

Qualifications
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience in program or project management or program integration
  • Experience with cost proposals, gate packages, or other program planning documents
  • Experience with program management tools EVMS, risk management, IMP/IMS, or similar program management disciplines experience
We Prefer
  • Program Management certification, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting or coordinating IPTs or cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
  • Experience with proposals, negotiations, or definitization processes
  • Prior exposure to Patriot programs or U.S. Government customer interactions

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
