Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks an Engineer Project Manager to support MILCON/FSRM efforts for a new-mission beddown of the F-35 at Moody AFB, GA. The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance or CAC.

Starting salary ranges from $120,000 to $130,000, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Responsibilities include coordinating across installation agencies, engineering planning, design review, construction management, and project reporting to ensure I/FOC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering and 3 years of related experience.
• Alternate: 10 years of experience applying engineering standards to facility design and construction activities.
• Professional architect or engineering license is desirable but not required.
• Experience supporting projects for a Federal Agency, preferably USAF or DOD.
• Must be able to obtain a Clearance or CAC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across installation agencies to prepare infrastructure, facilities and services for new mission organization to reach I/FOC.
• Conduct facility assessments, collect data, analyze, and plan facility modifications and new construction.
• Translate requirements into engineering solutions; apply standards, codes, and policies.
• Develop statements of work, cost estimates, schedules, and support contract solicitations.
• Review contractor documents for technical accuracy and ensure design intent is preserved.
• Oversee construction, resolve site issues, and manage project close-out processes.
• Coordinate with mission partners and stakeholders; prepare briefings and reports.
