Job summary

H.A.R.D. is seeking a nurturing Program Instructor for our Pre-K Programming. The role emphasizes team-teaching, fostering language and social skills, and age-appropriate activities across language, socialization, creativity, and motor development.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 ECE units and 4 years of preschool experience, is 21 or older, and can contribute to a supportive learning environment. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, not mandatory.

H.A.R.D.'s Pre-K Programs are activity-oriented programs that foster social, physical, and intellectual development as well as promote health and wellness through quality recreational and educational experiences. Children develop both basic social, developmental, and educational skills in an ideal environment for them to learn and grow. The learning curriculum focuses on language, socialization, creativity, art, music, imagination, life skills, and motor skills.

• Hourly Rate: $22.47/hour - $30.34/hour
• Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8AM - 12PM, 18-20 hours per week
• Part-Time, Year-Round, Hourly, Non-Exempt Position
• Work Location: Multiple Community Centers throughout the District
• Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
• Not to exceed 960 hours per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).
