Job summary

Trissential in Minneapolis, MN, is hiring a Program Financial Manager to shape financial governance for a large-scale transformation portfolio. You will influence investment decisions, drive budgeting, and provide leadership with insights to help deliver strategic initiatives.

This hybrid, full-time role requires 7–15 years of finance experience in transformations, strong governance skills, and the ability to mentor a team of analysts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 7–15 years of finance experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and change control.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, PMOs, TPMOs, or enterprise initiatives.
  • Strong expertise establishing financial governance, controls, and reporting processes across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience managing portfolio budgets, forecasts, and investment tracking.
  • Knowledge of ERP-led transformation programs and multi-vendor delivery environments.
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and influencing skills.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coaching analysts and finance team members.
  • Advanced proficiency with financial analysis, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and enterprise financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain financial governance frameworks, internal controls, and compliance standards across all program workstreams.
  • Build, manage, and continuously refine integrated portfolio budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights on risks, opportunities, and key cost drivers.
  • Establish and maintain program financial baselines while managing funding approvals and change control processes.
  • Lead month-end financial activities, reconciliations, reporting cycles, and audit readiness efforts.
  • Deliver executive-level financial reporting, including budget versus actuals, run-rate analysis, contingency management, and benefits realization tracking.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making around scope, timing, staffing, and sourcing.
  • Manage vendor and contract financial performance in partnership with Procurement and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance and Controllership teams on accounting treatment, capitalization decisions, and financial reporting standards.
  • Coach and mentor a team of financial analysts while ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables.

Your Role & Responsibilities
