Job summary

GM Defense is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to monitor, forecast, and analyze program financial performance, maintaining EACs and driving revenue and cost expectations. You will support decision making and profitability for current and future programs.

Responsibilities include preparing forecasts, reports, and financial analyses, while leveraging SAP (PEG) and Dassian. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a finance degree, and strong collaboration with finance and operating partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting concepts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office products
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Defense or Government contracting experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate financial data into insights and recommendations
• Prepare and maintain program forecasts (EACs, rolling forecasts, P&L, cash flow, production planning)
• Develop and manage program baselines and plans, including ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Monitor variances, risks, and mitigation plans for cost and schedule
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual reports and ad-hoc analyses for leadership
• Utilize SAP (PEG) and Dassian for financial analysis and automation
