TRISTAR is seeking a Program Finance Analyst for our upcoming Corporate Office in Bloomington, IN/ 100% Remote
- The Program Financial Analyst (PFA) will support program management, task leads, and most importantly the customer in all financial aspects of government contracts including, but not limited to tracking of multiple lines of funding and expenditures, budgeting, projecting, variance analysis, calculating burn rates and funding dates using various financial tools for routine reporting both internally and externally; updating financial tools with all changes including contractual modifications, rate changes, labor hour projections, and other direct cost changes; routinely reporting and updating financial status in a timely and efficient manner via contractual deliverables to the customer; routinely communicating with program management for any updates that have a financial impact on projects; attending meetings with program management and customer; coordinate financial presentations with program management for internal and external purposes

Requirements
- Responsible for all project control functions including planning, tracking, analysis and reporting across the project life cycle
- Analysis, calculation, and monitoring of financial data to determine funding requirements for multiple projects with multiple funding lines including spend plans for those lines
- Routinely updating financial data and funding dates on on various reports and financial tools
- Produces financial deliverables for both internal and external use
- Financial support includes funding analysis, monthly expenditure analysis, historical financials trend analysis, track current task spending and commitments, burn rates and forecast future trends
- Monitoring actual costs against budgets and identifying reasons for variance
- Assist Program Managers with project purchase requests, validate subcontract invoices against purchase orders and track subcontract cost
Requirements- 5+ years of experience working in Federal Government contracting industry as a Project /Financial Control analyst with experience in tracking, reporting, project analysis, etc
- Proficiency in MS Office applications with Excel being a must
- Financial analysis of projects to ensure compliance with requirements
- Must have attention to detail and ability analyze calculated outcomes for accuracy and quality reporting
- Reviews and analyzes cost variances, identifying anomalies with recommendations for corrective actions
- Ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast pace environment
- Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Uses independent judgment and decision making to assist Program Managers in all areas of project cost management
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance if needed
Education and Certification:- BA or BS Degree (in Finance or Accounting preferred)
