Job summary

Jobtailor is recruiting for a program evaluation role within the Church's evaluation research team in Salt Lake City, UT. The position involves conducting effectiveness evaluations for key programs, designing research instruments, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

The candidate should have a master's or PhD in a social science field with 5–7 years of evaluation experience, including international populations, and strong communication and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in education, instructional design, psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics or other social science field.
• Degree with emphasis in program evaluation preferred.
• Five to seven years professional experience in program evaluation.
• Experience with populations outside the United States and Canada.
• Understanding of evaluation theory and guiding principles.
• Ability to define and translate program objectives into an evaluation.
• Knowledge of research design including causal inference and sampling methods.
• Developing, conducting and analyzing surveys, interviews, focus groups and observations.
• Strong presentation design skills and concise communication of findings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in lead and support roles.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment and manage competing tasks and priorities.
• Ability to think critically and adapt to client priorities.
• Proven ability to lead research projects through all phases.
• Deep understanding of a culture outside the United States.
• Fluent English and another language spoken by Church members.
