Job summary

Cooper Standard in the United States is seeking a Program Engineer to bridge the customer and engineering teams. The role covers design, 3D data, drawings, prototypes, and DV/PV testing across one program region or product line.

You will attend program team meetings, supplier reviews, and run at-rate events at manufacturing plants when required. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred and two+ years of experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred.
• Typically has two plus years of experience.
• Solves problems in typical situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment.
• Good written and presentation skills.
• Ability to draw and manipulate 3D data in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between Customer and Cooper Standard for design targets.
• Lead engineering reviews, 3D data, drawings, prototypes, DV/PV testing.
• Attend program team meetings and supplier technical reviews.
• Release engineering change requests and manage design status.
• Support KT, 8D, and structured corrective actions with manufacturing.
• Participate in vehicle builds and validation.
