Job summary

Portland Public Schools is seeking a Program Director to lead Wayfinders, a 21st CCLC grant-funded summer and afterschool program. The role oversees staffing, budgeting, data collection, reporting, and partnership management to ensure program success during the inaugural year and beyond.

The Program Director will work to align the program with academic goals, recruit and retain students, and drive ongoing program development and fundraising beyond the grant period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full 21st CCLC grant cycle and ensure program compliance.
• Establish positive working relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners.
• Align school day and Wayfinders program to meet student needs and enrichment opportunities.
• Meet with school admin and partners to ensure programming meets student and family needs.
• Manage budgeting, data collection and reporting; coordinate transportation, meals, and facilities.
