Job summary

The Bridge Inc. is seeking a Program Director to lead the Rockaway supportive housing program. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality, person-centered services, and manage operations, safety, and compliance.

You’ll coordinate with residents, families, and partners to promote stability and independence. Qualifications include an MSW or related master's degree, crisis intervention experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

MSW or Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience working in mental health, crisis intervention, and managing trauma-triggered behaviors.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills; calm under stress; flexible; strong teamwork and feedback orientation.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise the Assistant Program Director and other program staff.
Oversee admission, ongoing operations, and discharge from the program.
Ensure readiness for audits and reviews; coordinate monthly data collection.
Be on call for 24-hour crisis intervention; attend meetings; work nights/weekends as needed.
Manage personnel activities: hiring, scheduling, policies, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions.
Liaise with maintenance and property management for building upkeep and safety.
