Communities In Schools of SC is seeking a Program Director to lead and supervise the regional CIS school programs. The role requires on-site presence in the Greenville/Pickens area, regular school visits, and strong collaboration with school staff and community partners.

You will manage program operations, budgeting, staff development, and compliance, ensuring high-quality services that align with CISofSC mission and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working with school-age children in a public school or nonprofit setting.
• At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience leading or managing teams.
• Proven experience in nonprofit programs or project management.
• Proven strength in hiring, training, coaching, and retaining staff to support professional growth and elevate team performance.
• Demonstrated success in managing multifaceted programs and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that promotes accountability and engagement.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong, professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and skilled in using technology and data tools for management, tracking, and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate the delivery of school-related programs according to the mission and goals of CIS of SC.
• Develop and implement long-term objectives to achieve successful school site service delivery.
• Ensure activities operate within CISofSC policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with site coordinators to identify gaps and develop community partnerships to fill those gaps.
• Develop and maintain positive partnership relationships with school administrators and community partners.
• Meet weekly with senior leadership to provide updates on program operations.
• Provide written and verbal reports to senior leadership and advisory boards as requested.
• Oversee grant compliance in conjunction with senior leadership and provide program information as needed.
