Job summary

Big Spaceship, a NY-based creative shop, is seeking a Program Director to lead delivery, operations, and financial management of a large-scale, fast-moving client account.

This role spans across multiple pods, overseeing senior program management while staying connected to day-to-day activity. You will design scalable systems, optimize workflows, manage budgets and staffing, and explore AI-enabled processes to drive smarter, faster work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a creative agency program management or delivery leadership.
• Experience overseeing large, multi-pod accounts with fast-paced production.
• Deep in scoping work, writing SOWs, staffing plans, budgets, and revenue tracking.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to model and monitor multi-level performance; AI workflows a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program management across a large, multi-pod account and ensure operational excellence.
• Lead senior-level program management while coordinating day-to-day activity.
• Design and optimize large-scale operating systems, workflows, and processes.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into agency workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Manage high-volume social and content production with shifting priorities.
• Collaborate across disciplines to create effective workflows based on scope and deliverables.
• Own the development of large-scale scopes of work and SOWs, from draft to final approval.
• Develop staffing plans and resource models based on scope, workload, timelines, team structure, and financial targets.
• Coach and oversee project/program managers in developing smaller scopes, estimates, staffing plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Build project and program plans with understanding of resources, third-party capabilities, time requirements, and business objectives.
• Own and manage the financial health of the program, including budgets, revenue, invoice tracking, burn rates, forecasting, reconciliation, staffing costs, and scope performance.
• Create program-level financial models that reflect current and future scenarios for decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance across pods and workstreams, flag risks early and mitigate.
