Addiction Professionals Certification Board, Inc. is looking for a Program Director of Women’s Residential Treatment Services in Paterson, NJ. This role requires a passion for helping others and involves ensuring the quality of treatment programs. Candidates must have 5 years of administrative and clinical experience and hold an LCADC with a master’s degree in social services or psychology. Program Director of Women’s Residential Treatment Services

Headquartered in Paterson, NJ, Straight and Narrow is the largest program of its kind. We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co‑occurring disorders. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Residential/Outpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs.

Hours: One weekend a month, 2 late days (11:00am to 7:00pm), 3 days (9:00am to 5:00pm)

Pay $75,000-80,000/year. On call responsibilities. Location: Travel Required to Paterson and Secaucus.

Job Summary

Ensure all of the women’s residential treatment program at Straight & Narrow provides its clients is consistent with Straight & Narrow’s Philosophy of Treatment and that the Continuous Quality Improvement program operates effectively for the benefit of the organization, its employees and clients. While serving as DWRTS, maintain the responsibility for overall functioning of the Programs; long‑term planning for the Women’s Programs, ensuring the provision of quality treatment and care for residential and outpatient clients in accordance with the requirements of all accrediting, regulating and licensing bodies, catholic Charities Straight & Narrow’s mission, vision, values and philosophy of treatment. This position requires on call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in an administrative capacity and clinical role.
• LCADC with a minimum of master’s degree in social services and/or Psychology required.
• Dually licensed preferred and experience with medically managed programs and co‑occurring disorders.
• Ability to represent Straight & Narrow with funding organizations, other providers, Board of Directors, Diocesan personnel and the community in a manner that reflects positively on the agency.
• Must have the ability to recognize new and changing treatment needs and respond with a plan of action.
• Knowledge of prevailing standards and best practices is essential.

Possess the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and handle crises. Proficiency in Microsoft programs, electronic health records, NJSAMS is required.
