Job summary

Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner in Gilroy, California, is seeking a Full-Time Program Director to lead clinical programs, supervise staff, and drive quality and operational excellence.

You will oversee program operations, budgets, and personnel; coordinate admissions, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliance with policies, with a strong emphasis on leadership and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed or advanced degree in mental health or rehabilitation.
• Five years of brain injury rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and hold regular meetings to discuss admissions, discharges, client issues, staff issues, program budgets.
• Meet with Regional VP of Clinical Operations to discuss program, personnel, budget, client and company issues.
• Build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels inside and outside the organization.
• Ensure compliance with Collage policies and procedures using manuals and guides as resources.
• Analyze data to evaluate and improve operations and clinical effectiveness at designated sites.
• Oversee program evaluation, quality assessment, tracking, and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with HR, legal, facilities, compensation, and safety policies.
• Continuously evaluate systems to improve efficiency and develop new services and ideas.
• Approve all program expenses, purchases, and maintenance.

Our CARF-accredited programs provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

We are searching for a Full-Time Program Director for our Gilroy, California program. This position directs and evaluates the assessment and development of all client treatment plans and programming. This role is responsible for the clinical supervision of staff and clinical direction of the programs as well as quality management. In addition, the position oversees and manages all assigned programs, and is specifically responsible for program operations, finances and personnel.

Essential Duties & Functions

• Coordinate and hold regular meetings to discuss potential admissions and discharges, client issues, staff issues, overall clinical programs and any related budgetary issues
• Meet regularly with Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations to discuss program, personnel, budget, client and company issues
• Demonstrates ability to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels inside and outside of the organization
• Ensures consistent interpretation of and compliance with all of Collage policies and procedures by using the policy and procedures manual, personnel manual, medical and emergency procedures handbook, and other related materials as resources
• Analyze data to evaluate, revise and develop systems and procedures to enhance operations and clinical effectiveness of designated sites
• Responsible for program evaluation/quality assessment systems; tracking, completion, and timeliness
• Responsible for compliance with policies and procedures in human resource administration, legal considerations, facilities/properties/vehicles management, compensation administration, and health and safety
• Constantly evaluate systems and procedures to look for more efficient and effective ways to run programs and develop other services and new program ideas.
• Approve all program expenses, purchases and maintenance

Education & Experience

• A license and/or advanced degree in mental health or rehabilitation, along with a minimum of five years' experience in brain injury rehabilitation, is preferred
• Experience treating more medically complex individuals is a plus
• A minimum of three years of supervisory experience is required
• Superior planning, organizational, writing, speaking, and time management skills are also required
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and communication skills are essential
