Job summary

Impact Justice seeks a Program Director to lead The Menopause Project, guiding expansion across correctional systems and beyond. You will report to the VP of Innovation Programs, oversee initial staff, and drive program design, implementation, and evaluation with a focus on social justice and health equity.

The role requires strong public speaking, relationship-building with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to navigate complex systems. A hybrid work setup is expected with travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Expand the Menopause Project by strategizing, managing, building out, and implementing expansion efforts.
• Manage project deliverables, guide best practices, and support high-stakes decision-making.
• Maintain and grow partnerships with CDCR, other corrections departments, policymakers, and healthcare providers.
• Engage in organizational fundraising and public speaking opportunities (events, media, podcasts).
• Develop and execute Advisory Board strategy and communications.
• Lead fundraising initiatives, donor cultivation, and proposal development.
• Build out and manage a growing team, ensuring alignment and staff development.
• Collaborate with Impact Justice leadership across teams and partners.
• Supervise initial staff and coordinate with the project consultant during transition.
• Travel up to 10% to project sites and main office locations.
