Job summary

Impact Justice is hiring a Program Director to lead The Menopause Project, guiding expansion, external engagement, and cross‑sector partnerships in California and beyond. You will report to the Vice President of Innovation Programs and manage one senior staff member at start, with potential growth.

The ideal candidate has a background in public health or women’s health, strong leadership, fundraising experience, and excellent public speaking skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in public health or women’s health and work with incarcerated populations is preferred.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and program-management skills.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders including policymakers and funders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Menopause Project expansion and implement program growth.
• Oversee project deliverables, budgeting, and program refinement.
• Build and sustain partnerships with CDCR, other corrections, policymakers and providers.
• Engage in fundraising, including donor relations and proposal development.
• Manage Advisory Board operations and communications.
• Lead a growing team and collaborate across Impact Justice and partners.
• Represent the program publicly with strong facilitation and speaking skills.
• Travel approximately 10% to project sites and offices.
