Merakey is seeking a Program Director for our Pottsville, PA location. The starting salary is $63,000 annually, with potential alignment to experience and licensure, plus mileage reimbursement. The role focuses on leading a Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team, ensuring quality, compliance, and strong operations across the program.

You will guide staff, oversee recruitment, and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders while promoting Merakey's core values and mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field is required.
• Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or related professional counselor is required.
• At least two years of experience in mental health settings.
• At least two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or another health and human service-related field.
• Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)
• Experience in the behavioral health field with:
  • Two years in a mental health setting.
  • Two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Possess at least two years of program management experience
