Job summary

Merakey seeks a Program Manager for the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services division in Harrisburg, PA. This role oversees day-to-day management of programs, supervises staff, and ensures delivery of high-quality services to participants within the division.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years IDD experience and 1–3 years of supervisory/manager experience, with a valid driver’s license and ability to manage budgets and on-call coverage for the region.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background checks.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years IDD related experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisor/manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel management including Leave, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, Performance, hiring, remediation, and termination.
• Manage professional services and purchasing of required supplies; reconcile receipts.
• Coordinate program activities and supervise program staff; ensure high-quality services.
• Maintain on-call responsibilities for the region and incident management with QCO.

The Program Manager plays a critical role in in the day - to - day management and oversight of specific programs or services within their Division. Reporting to the Program Director or Director, this position is responsible for coordinating program activities, supervising program staff, and ensuring the delivery of high - quality services to program participants.

This role may manage a caseload of their own.

Job Functions of theProgram Managerrole:

• Responsible for personnel management to include but not limited to; Leave Management, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, Performance Management, hiring, remediation and, termination.
• Management of Professional services.
• Purchasing of required supplies and reconciliation of receipts.
• On-call responsibilities for region.
• Incident Management in partnership with QCO.
• When applicable understanding of labor to include but not limited to; seniority and overtime rules and contract interpretation.
• Client fund management
• Intake and distribution of medication
• Oversight of team compliance of required trainings.
• Oversight of program operations to ensure adherence to monthly budgetary requirements

Earn $60,000/year in this position.
