Responsibilities

• Authority and accountability for the operation of the General Surgery residency program.
• Develop curriculum, policies and procedures for the program.
• Maintain ACGME accreditation and state approvals.
• Recruit residents and develop evaluation processes.
• Participate in competency evaluations of residents.
• Coordinate rotations across departments and ensure diverse career pathways.
• Lead a faculty team with deep experience and knowledge.
