Job summary

Columbia Business School’s Lang Entrepreneurship Center seeks an Associate Director of Programming to oversee ongoing operations and contribute to Center strategy. This execution- and coordination-focused role translates strategic priorities into high-quality, student- and alumni-facing programming across multiple initiatives.

The Associate Director will work with faculty, Center leadership, and School offices to design, execute, and improve programming while supporting curricular initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of related experience in program management, higher education administration, entrepreneurship programming, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy in sensitive or confidential matters.
• Interest in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and the startup ecosystem, with eagerness to deepen subject-matter knowledge over time.

Responsibilities

• Manages planning, execution, and evaluation of co-curricular programs serving students and alumni, including accelerator-style programs and signature Lang Center offerings.
• Oversees logistics, communications, and operational workflows for assigned programs.
• Develops and manages day-to-day execution of special initiatives supporting students and alumni, such as discount programs and marketing campaigns.
• Tracks participation, outcomes, and satisfaction across programs and uses data to recommend improvements.
• Coordinates with faculty, alumni, practitioners, and partner offices to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of program components.
