The most powerful support you can offer a student who scored 99% is honest feedback that they fell short.

Not because perfection is the goal. Because believing someone is capable of more is among the most respectful things you can do.

Most educational institutions shield students from failure. Alpha equips them for success. We hold that confidence isn't forged by reducing expectations. It emerges when students accomplish what they previously believed impossible. This conviction drives everything we do.

Our approach is intentionally distinct. Students achieve academic mastery independently through AI-driven learning tools, which allows adults to concentrate on transformative work: coaching character development, cultivating resilience, nurturing leadership capabilities, and instilling habits that produce exceptional outcomes. We don't require adults to transmit content. We seek leaders who understand how to unlock human potential.

This position stands at the heart of that objective. You'll develop the Guides who engage directly with students, transforming them into outstanding coaches rather than traditional instructors. You'll facilitate life skills workshops that leave lasting impressions on students. You'll analyze performance metrics to pinpoint where students or Guides need support and coach them toward excellence. You'll also maintain your own student cohort, exemplifying the standards you uphold for others.

The impact is exponential. Each Guide you develop influences dozens of students. Every enhancement you bring to campus culture multiplies across hundreds of young lives. Success isn't defined by meeting attendance or report generation. It's determined by whether students grow more confident, disciplined, resilient, and capable through the culture you cultivate.

This position isn't designed for someone seeking to maintain existing educational structures. It's intended for someone convinced that young people merit more than compliance, attendance requirements, and mediocre expectations. If coaching people through challenging growth, leveraging data for informed decisions, and maintaining high standards because you genuinely believe in others' capabilities energizes you, this environment will suit you well.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and coach Guides to implement Alpha's coaching methodology with consistency, passion, and unwavering standards.
  • Facilitate dynamic life skills workshops addressing communication, concentration, feedback reception, leadership development, and resilience for K-8 students using established playbooks.
  • Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to recognize coaching needs, eliminate obstacles, and produce quantifiable improvements weekly.
  • Conduct motivation sessions that empower every student to embrace ambitious objectives and consistently reach them.
  • Oversee your own student cohort while demonstrating the coaching quality and accountability you require from all Guides.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Delivering academic instruction. Students complete core academics autonomously through AI-powered educational platforms.
  • Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum materials. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not producing instructional content.
  • Conducting classrooms via lectures, worksheets, or behavioral management systems. Students direct their learning, and you coach the habits that enable achievement.
  • Reducing standards to circumvent challenging discussions. Rigorous expectations and authentic belief in each student's capacity are inseparable.
  • Defining success through activity volume rather than actual outcomes. Impact matters more than effort in isolation.
Program Director Key Responsibilities

Establish a coaching culture in which outstanding Guides reliably develop students who are passionate about school, achieve academic mastery at accelerated rates, and cultivate the resilience, leadership qualities, and practical skills necessary for sustained success beyond academics.

Basic Requirements
  • Available to work on-site in Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Oklahoma City, OK (relocation assistance available).
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or comparable fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a continuous team of five or more adults, holding final or principal authority for team member selection and performance-related termination decisions.
  • Consistent, ongoing responsibility for the learning, conduct, motivation, or development of children aged 5-14 within educational, developmental, athletic or youth leadership contexts.
  • Documented history of establishing, launching, or substantially expanding a program, team, school, business, or initiative from inception, rather than merely sustaining or inheriting existing structures.
  • Demonstrated capability to leverage performance data and metrics to identify issues, establish priorities, and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort working in an educational environment that intentionally rejects conventional teaching methods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
  • Background in athletic coaching, outdoor or experiential education leadership, camp direction, youth program management, or other cohort-based organizations.
  • Experience establishing or managing innovative educational initiatives, EdTech ventures, tutoring services, nonprofit programs, or learning platforms beyond traditional classroom instruction.
  • Personal track record of outstanding performance in academics, athletics, entrepreneurial ventures, or leadership roles.
  • Deeply held belief that education should cultivate capable, resilient, self-directed young people rather than merely transmit academic information.
