Job summary

Harris & Associates in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Program Director to lead multi-discipline, high-stakes projects within PMCM Education. You will coordinate with senior leaders, manage the full PM life cycle, and drive proposals, change management, and growth initiatives.

Qualified candidates have 15+ years in construction, PM experience, and licenses or certifications; travel readiness is required. The firm offers hybrid/remote plans and strong employee ownership benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced qualifications.
• Professional engineering or architectural license preferred.
• Certifications such as CCM, PMP, QSP preferred.
• Ability to travel to other offices, field locations and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple large projects of the most complex nature with high performance risk.
• Maintains extensive contact with key leaders in Harris, communities and markets.
• Serves as internal and external subject matter expert.
• Leads full range of project management cycle with multiple task teams.
• Oversees project/program quality and completion aligned with plans and financial outcomes.
• Directs development of PM plans and resource estimates (management, labor, materials, time).
• Facilitates discussions to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and contract issues.
• Leads preparation of complex proposals in response to RFPs.
• Develops and executes change management strategies and communications.
• Secures and contracts sub-consultants required for projects.
• Attracts and manages senior PM and technical staff.
• Serves as primary client contact to deliver high-quality services.
• Cultivates executive-level client relationships to win new work.
• Oversees client relationships within the team and serves as an executive resource.
• Initiates and leads strategic business development aligned with company goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field

Master's degree preferred

Professional engineering or architectural license preferred

CCM, PMP, and QSP certifications preferred

Valid driver’s license and travel willingness
