Job summary

Compass Family Services’ Compass Children’s Center seeks a Program Director to provide full center operational oversight, ensuring health, safety, quality, and compliance of early childhood education and family services. You will lead staffing, curriculum, family engagement, and fiscal management in alignment with mission and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• Program Director Permit and 6 units of infant‑toddlers ECE (or eligible for program director permit).
• Five or more years of experience supervising staff.
• Spanish fluency strongly desired.
• Knowledge of Title 5 and Title 22 regulations; NAEYC requirements a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification and Infectious Disease Prevention training.
• Health screening, TB and DOJ/FBI/Child Abuse Index clearance required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive leadership and management of all center operations.
• Establish and maintain a vision for high‑quality early childhood education and family services.
• Oversee curriculum development and implementation with staff.
• Ensure fiscal management and regulatory compliance across programs.
• Coordinate family engagement and community partnerships (PAC, regulatory bodies).
• Represent Compass Children’s Center in leadership and cross‑program collaboration.
