• Solid understanding of root causes, dynamics and prevention strategies for domestic violence.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a busy environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well on teams.
• Project management experience in cross-functional settings.

Aufgaben

• Manage and administer the shelter program including client intake/discharge and services.
• Oversee billing and budgeting for the program.
• Supervise, hire, evaluate and develop staff and interns.
• Provide oversight of staff duties, counseling, childcare, case records and statistics.
• Coordinate staff training and development.
• Develop collaborations with community organizations and government agencies.
• Represent URI at coalitions and task forces to ensure collaboration.
• Assist with grant proposals, reports and program evaluation.
