Home Watch Caregivers of Bridgewater is seeking an experienced Program Director to oversee services for individuals with developmental disabilities across Mercer, Somerset, and Middlesex County, NJ. The role focuses on quality services, staff accountability, and compliance with state regulations.

The ideal candidate will lead teams, manage complex cases, and ensure smooth program operations while promoting growth and patient-centered approaches within a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience within NJ DDD services.
• Knowledge of NJ DDD policies, ISP implementation, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing and supervising staff.
• Experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Crisis management Training
• CPR & First Aid
• Medication Training
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of DDD services and program activities
• Ensure compliance with NJ DDD policies, procedures, and regulations
• Supervise, coach, and support DSPs and other staff members
• Maintain new client quota
• Assist with staff training, development, and mentoring
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges using appropriate interventions and strategies
• Monitor documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of required records
• Communicate effectively with families, support coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist in problem-solving, crisis intervention, and service coordination
• Support program growth and ensure high-quality services are maintained

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Program Director to support and oversee services for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Mercer, Somerset, and Middlesex County, NJ.
