Job summary

Queens Community House, located in Queens, NY, seeks a Program Director of College & Career Advisement to lead Pathways and empower youth to pursue higher education and meaningful careers. You will coach staff, build partnerships with colleges and employers, and ensure data-driven program outcomes.

The role requires collaborative leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to inclusion, equity, and continuous improvement as we expand pathways toward financial independence for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Experience with program management, data tracking and reporting.
• Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff leadership, supervision, and accountability for program staff.
• Oversee program planning, implementation, and reporting.
• Manage Pathways Model Change Track and contract deliverables.
• Monitor budgeting and funder visits; support data-driven decision making.
• Build partnerships with colleges, employers, and community organizations.
• Recruit and retain program participants; develop retention strategies.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting.
