Job summary

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a Child and Adolescent Day Treatment Program Director to provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of the Day Treatment program serving children and adolescents.

Location is Bladen Day Treatment at Elizabethtown Primary School, onsite, with a 7:30AM–3:30PM schedule. The role requires a Master's degree in a human services field, NC licensure (LPA/LPC/LCSW or equivalent), and several years of supervision and field experience in substance abuse/mental

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services or related field is required.
• NC licensure as LPA, LPC, LCSW or equivalent required.
• Three years supervision experience in substance abuse/mental health and five total years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Day Treatment operations and program services.
• Supervise, coach, and develop clinical and support staff.
• Monitor clinical services, documentation, authorizations, and compliance with agency, Medicaid, and LME/MCO requirements.
• Oversee assessments, person-centered plans, crisis plans, and treatment planning.
• Lead staff meetings, training, onboarding, and professional development.
• Participate in hiring, performance management, and other personnel activities.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships with schools, DSS, DJJ, providers, courts, and community organizations.
• Promote Day Treatment services through outreach and partnerships.
• Monitor program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Oversee resources, equipment, supplies, and facilities.

What You'll Do

Lead and oversee daily Day Treatment operations and program services.

Promote Day Treatment services through community outreach, presentations, and professional partnerships.

Oversee program resources, equipment, supplies, and facility needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited program with a Master's degree in a human services or related field and two years of progressive substance abuse and/or mental health counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Possession of North Carolina licensure as one of the following: LPA, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent

OR

Three years supervision experience in the substance abuse and /or mental health field as well as five total years of experience in the substance abuse and/or mental health field.

What We're Looking For

Strong clinical and staff supervision skills.

Knowledge of behavioral health treatment, crisis intervention, family therapy, and community resources.

Experience with program development, compliance, documentation, and treatment planning.

Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and community relationship-building skills.

Ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team.

Valid NC driver's license and ability to work in community settings.
